― My background

Over the past two decades, I have helped nonprofit organizations, governments, and community coalitions navigate some of their most complex challenges, strengthen their organizations, and create lasting community impact.

― Capabilities
  • Capacity Building
  • Non-Profit Leadership and Program Development
  • Strategic Planning
  • Cross-Sector Partnership Development and Collaboration
  • Complex, Large-Scale Crisis Response Supporting Vulnerable Populations
  • Team Building, Mentoring
  • Crisis Communications and Response

My work spans disaster response and resilience, housing and homelessness, strategic planning, organizational development, and systems change, bringing together diverse partners to address complex problems.

Organizations facing complex challenges need more than a consultant. They need someone who can bring clarity to competing priorities, build alignment among diverse partners, and help turn strategy into action.
― Phoenix Collaborative

The Phoenix is a mythological bird said to live a long life and, even more impressively, to die at the end of its life in a burst of flames and be reborn.

I believe this is a beautiful symbol of the work we do when we make sense of chaos or respond to and recover from crisis, both at an individual and at a community or organizational level.

Phoenix Collaborative was born at a time when I was trying to make sense of the chaos and start a new chapter in my career. I did not do this alone. I am grateful to my village, both near and far, who continue to collaborate with me and grow our collective capabilities to do the hard work before us.
